Pets

The by-laws require that an owner of a lot must not, without approval in writing of the Owners Corporation, keep any animal in the lot or the common property.​

To seek approval, please contact StrataChoice.  Approval requires you to provide specific documentation (such as evidence of registration, vaccination etc) for review.  If you are renting, you need to provide proof your landlord has agreed to you keeping a pet.

Even with approval the by-laws set out an owner's obligations to manage their pet’s behaviour for everyone’s comfort and convenience.  For example, pets should be restrained when on common property and trained to prevent reactive or anxious barking.  The EPA produces a useful document to help deal with barking dogs.
