Smoking

St Killian is a smoke free environment on common property, ie the garage, lift lobby, lifts, main hallway and rear garden.  Owners, occupiers or visitors must not smoke on the common property.  In addition, they must ensure that their smoking does not create a nuisance on common property or on another lot, including the disposal of cigarette butts.  Cigarette butts must not be thrown from balconies.

If you cannot resolve an issue with nuisance smoking, you can raise it with Strata Choice, the strata managing agent, to take it further.  The NSW Office of Fair Trading has useful advice on dispute resolution.
